About Term 1 !

Its finally the end of the term 1 this term was really good because I got to be friends with new people and I did most of my work . We did a lot of stuff this term but my favourite thing was probably going to brunner mine because we got to get out of the class and I really like to get out of the class room .
We were also learning different maths and it was a really good learning environment to be learning new stuff in . I really liked making Anzac biscuits yesterday it was really fun and its nice that we are sending them to people that may not be able to cook them for there self's . I had a really fun term hanging out with my friends and learning new stuff and I cant wit for next term for camp and more . 
I hope everyone had a good term 1 !

Anzac Day

Today our class and T4 made Anzac biscuits for the old people in granger house  . What we had to do first is that we had to read the instructions before we started what we needed was flower,sugar,baking soda,butter,golden syrup,oats,and coconut . We had to put the ingredients in but I cant quite remember how much to put in . We also did some Anzac art which we had to paint the background black grey and white after that we had to draw poppies and colour them red and green !

End of Term Reflection

Its new week 11 the end of the Term This term was really good for me because I have been in different friends groups and been learning loads of stuff . 

This term my favourite thing was probably going to brunner mine because it was really good to be getting out of the class and learning new things about New Zealand .

The most important thing I learnt was to be nice to other people and pay respect because we have been learning that around the school and also in Whanau time . 

Next Term I hope that we get to go on more trips away from the class room and I'm really looking forward to going to camp and the rest of the year .

Maths Finance

This term for weeks 9 and 10 we did a maths task to it involved money and it was almost like real life . The first thing we had to do was to fill out what we wanted to have when we are 47 or 46 ! 
It includes children pets and also cars you also have to chose what you want your pets and cars to be but you also have to chose what your kids names,Age,Gender are . 
After that you will get another peace of paper and it will say to put your tax and mortgage into the slot . You will get a card that tells you what you will get paid and how much you have to pay for your tax and mortgage. 
Every week you will get paid and you will also have to pay your tax and mortgage . After you have paid your tax and mortgage you will need to get a grocery card and add up all of your grocery's . 
Once you have added up all of your grocery's you will need to pay for them !
You will also get given a Fortune card which will either make you pay for something or give you money . 
Once you have done all of that for 3 weeks the fourth week there will be more stuff added on the you have to pay for like Sky TV, Life insurance , Your Vehicle , Phone/Internet, Electricity you will also get a card pulled out for each of there too .
After the end of the month you will have either extra money , no money , or you might be in dept . 
If you are in dept you have to take money out of your savings account everyone had two thousand dollars In there savings account . 
If you have to take money out of your savings account then you will have much less for if the end of the month . 
This is as much as we have done this term but I am looking ford to doing more next term !

Our Art !

This term we did some art and we called it avatar art because we had to copy an avatar that we tried to make look like yourself . The first thing we had to do was make our avatar on an app we found . Next we had to make squares on the avatar we made . Then we had to get a peace of paper and line it with squares then you have to draw were the avatar goes in the squares . After you have drawed your avatar you next need to paint it and you also have to find the right colour paints .Then once you have drawn and painted your avatar all you have to do is wait for it to dry and you should be done .

This week in the news !

This week there was a report that Robots are taking over the Valet Service Exupery airport in France and its kinda true !
They now have Robots That can park your car but only at Valet Service Exupery airport in France !
The robots were created by Stanley Robotics they call the robot Your Stan .
Your "Stan" slides a platform underneath your vehicle lifts it up carries it away and parks it. I think that pretty cool don't you ?
Stanley Robotics says the system can fit more cars into the same area which makes more space . 
Its much cheaper to use these robots it is $63 for a robot to move your car and keep it in the same place for a week but its more for a human to move your car surprisingly .
